Q I - G O N G
SUNDAY 4th DECEMBER 11:30am-12:30pm
Donation based class held at B-Yoga Studio Rhyl
Qigong pronounced "chee gong" is an ancient Chinese practice which literally translated means "energy work or skill".
Rachael - @ramarchant1 will gently guide you through breathing techniques, postures both standing and moving, stretchy and flowing with mental focus and intentions. Meaning that you'll be working body, mind and spirit.
All of which help transform stress in to vitality giving you more energy to do the things you enjoy!
No equipment or previous experience is required, and Qigong is suitable for all.
Another way we get Qi "energy" is by eating. So why not stay after and have a well earned cup of tea and a bit of cake.
Donations can be made on the day with cash or online via Rachaels just giving page:
Rachael has worked as a staff nurse at St Kentigerns Hospice for 5 years and is holding this event as well as her online lessons throughout December to try and help raise money after the loss of fundraising due to the pandemic. Only around 17% of funding for the hospice comes from the government and the rest is reliant on the generosity of the public through fundraising.
